The reason I wrote this series, to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with sound financial knowledge, was to educate readers on the importance of hiring a CPA or certified public accountant, or a tax professional to handle your business finances. I would like to share with you a little about myself before we move on. I am a retired Chemical engineer and have been involved in small business management for over 30 years. I am also a certified public accountant and was able to become a self employed contractor by completing the necessary state and local filing requirements.

As a result of these experiences, I am very aware of the importance of maximizing every dollar spent. In addition to using my tax knowledge, I utilize every dollar spent on advertising as an opportunity to generate leads for future business endeavors. I also want to share with you two of the best programs I recommend to small businesses. These programs are specifically geared toward helping minority-owned businesses and women-owned businesses.
